      yes, "set to music", but does it have to be an original score or can it be... say, 'who let the dogs out' or 'bad romance', etc? i just don't want to get myself or anyone else in trouble. i've run into this problem before with various other projects. i know the rules technically say "whatever", but whatever isn't exactly legal terminology. i also know that this contest is just supposed to be about fun and i don't wanna bring anyone down. on the contrary, i want to make sure everyone's fun is safe from possible legal action, and while that may seem silly to some people, other people might consider it just enough reason to file a complaint or even a suit. i'm so so sorry, i really am, but i just don't want myself or someone else to put effort into something and then have something tragic happen as a result. maybe i'm just being paranoid, and there's probably nothing to worry about, but i believe in the phrase "it is better to be safe than sorry", and clearer guidelines are just a suggestion, no one really has to listen to me, but i would really appreciate it ever so much. thank you again. ~AMG*

      Using music, whether copyrighted or not, will not disqualify you in any way. You should be mindful of the general fair use rules and the guidelines for posting something on youtube or vimeo with copyrighted music. This contest does not provide any kind of legal cover or protection so if you're worried about it, then please use only what you are comfortable with.
